The Otie Award
The Otie award is given annually in honor of former Hill View resident, Reverend Otis Bell. The award is given to an employee whose contributions have made Hill View a better place to live and work
Hill View's employees are the most important ingredient in fulfilling our mission to "serve aging individuals in a Christian atmosphere of dignity, caring, and respect."
On July 27th Hill View Retirement Center celebrated it’s 36th anniversary at a dinner attended by residents, employees and members of the Board of Trustees. As part of the celebration, Amy Burchett, Nutrition Services Supervisor was honored as this year’s “Otie” award recipient. The “Otie” award is given annually in honor of former Hill View resident, Reverend Otis Bell. It is given to an employee whose contributions have made Hill View a better place to live and work. From those nominated, a committee of residents and employees selected Amy as this year’s recipient. Amy has worked at Hill View since 1996. Amy is pictured here with John Prose, President/CEO.
We achieve our mission through a variety of means. The Eden Alternative, spirituality, socialization, nutritious meals three times a day, clinic services, assisted living, nursing care, cultural opportunities, travel, educational programs, art classes, and music all contribute to provide the fine quality of life that is available to our residents at Hill View.
